Total Time: 2 minutes
Makes: 1 mask

Equipment

  • Bowl
  • Wooden or plastic spoon

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp bentonite clay use wooden or plastic spoon, as metal can decrease the effectiveness of the bentonite clay
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp water

Essential Oils

  • 1 drop Frankincense essential oil
  • 1 drop Lavender essential oil
  • 1 drop Tea Tree essential oil

Instructions

  • Combine vinegar and water in a bowl
  • Add Bentonite Clay and stir until well combined
  • Add essential oils

Usage

  • Apply to clean skin, avoiding the areas around eyes and mouth
  • Let dry for 5–15 minutes
  • Rinse with warm water and follow with moisturiser

Notes

  • For a thicker mask, add an additional ½ teaspoon of clay
  • Use wooden or plastic spoon, as metal can decrease the effectiveness of the bentonite clay
  • Apple Cider Vinegar can cause some short-term redness which is why I recommend diluting with water.  Some people are fine with straight Apple Cider Vinegar and the Bentonite Clay, but if you are unsure, you can try a patch test first to check for sensitivity.  You can always increase or decrease the amount of water to suit.
