DIY Foaming Hand Wash

Foaming Hand Wash

Making your own DIY Foaming Hand Wash is incredibly easy- so easy in fact that it’s barely even a recipe! It’s super cheap too, so you can make one for every room in your house that has a sink (that’s what I do!)

Mix and match your favourite essential oils to create your own custom scent.

Foaming Hand Wash

Whip up this luscious foaming hand wash in seconds! I like to use different oils in each hand wash of the house so I can experiment with new combinations

Essential oils

  • 10 drops preferred essential oil/s see notes for suggestions

  • Pour castile soap into bottle and add essential oils
  • Swirl to combine
  • Add fractionated coconut oil
  • Top up with water (leave room for the foaming pump!)

  • Swirl to combine ingredients and dispense as required

This is seriously the easiest recipe ever to make!  It's not an exact science - you don't even really need the measurements.  See your bottle?  Visualise a 1/3 at the bottom.  Pour castile soap to 2/3 of that mark, then fractionated coconut oil (FCO) to the mark. Then top up with water.  So easy!
Essential oil suggestions:
  • doTERRA's OnGuard blend - to keep the germs at bay
  • doTERRA's Purify blend - refreshing purifying
  • Spearmint and Wild Orange - because it's an amazingly yummy combo
  • Lavender and Geranium - Luxurious and good for your skin

Love this recipe! Use it all the time and nice to “mix up” the falvours/scents each time I need to make a new batch!
My poor hands get so dry and cracked using store bought hand wash!
Highly Recommend! And super easy to make!

I’m so glad you love the recipe Brylie! It’s true, you won’t ever go back to store bought soaps once you experience how quick, easy and economical it is to make a healthy alternative 🙂
